We are largely knowledgable, remarkably sensible, and yet undeniably cynical. This disillusionment that often begins with our world leaders, religious institutions, and systems of government eventually seeps into the rest of our life.

We need a re-enlightenment. A re-enchantment. A reclaiming of wonder and awe. We need to believe again.

Belief is more than certainty, intellectual agreement, or the accumulation of knowledge. Belief is riskier than certainty, It’s more vulnerable than agreement - much more necessary than knowledge.

In 6 weeks we’ll celebrate the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday. This is a day of is mystery and miracle. It’s risky. It’s vulnerable. And it’s exactly what we need. Will we be ready to believe again?
