Every Fall we give out awards named after two of the most giving and hospitable members of the Gather family - Andy & Nancy Pechacek. When Andy & Nancy moved to North Carolina in 2023, we knew we needed a way to honor their unique contributions to our community. The Andy Award is for someone who has demonstrated consistent service, going above and beyond. The Nancy Award is for someone who shows welcoming hospitality to the people of Gather (and everywhere!). Submit a nomination here.
We’re very excited to welcome author, speaker, and pastor Cody Deese for our Sunday morning liturgy on October 26th at 10am! He’ll be speaking about his new book, Discovering Your Internal Universe: The Unexpected Good News about Anxiety, Panic, and Fear. We're very excited to offer Sunday School with Bri this fall! Bri will be teaching and leading discussion on the Enneagram + Spiritual Practices every Sunday morning at 9am starting September 28th.

Starting in August, we’re doing an Advocacy Sunday on the third Sunday of every month! Join us as we hear from someone talking about an important topic while we write letters to our representatives or letters of encouragement to people who need it. This is an opportunity to learn and immediately act on what we’ve learned.
We’re excited to kick off this month writing letters in defense of immigrants and refugees and hearing from our very own Andrea Lauver! Join us after church in the fellowship hall!
We’re so excited for Backpack Blessing + Promotion Sunday! We’ll have a special blessing to read over our kids, parents, and teachers during the service and backpack tags to take home with you! This will be our big kickoff Sunday for all kids moving from Pre-K to Elementary too. Not to mention — we’ll have snow cones after church! Can’t wait!
