PEACEMAKING PARTNERS
FAM HOUSTON
Fam is working for justice by building empowered community among refugees, immigrants and local Houstonians. Gather partners with FAM by serving at their small farm near Alief. The farm is run by resettled refugees, immigrants, and local Houstonians with the hope that this agricultural endeavor will serve as a model for increasing food access and human connection.
FOSTER CARE ADVOCACY CENTER
Foster Care Advocacy Center is a nonprofit multidisciplinary law office that provides holistic representation for children and parents involved in the child welfare system in the greater Houston area. Gather partners with FCAC through advocacy and fundraising.
GRACE PLACE
Grace Place provides a twice-weekly drop-in program for youth ages 13-24 of all sexualities and genders experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Gather partners with Grace Place by serving regularly & advocating for the work of Grace Place.
BREAD OF LIFE
Bread of Life is eradicating food insecurity while improving health outcomes in vulnerable communities in Houston, as well as providing the fundamental human needs of love, hope, dignity, and belonging. Gather partners with BOL by serving regularly at their food distribution events in Midtown.
